EPC Pastor

Dr. Bruce A. Spear is the new pastor of EPC. Bruce and his wife, Susan, have been residents of the Denver area for more than three decades. After receiving his Master of Divinity degree from Denver Seminary in 1991, he joined Bear Creek Evangelical Presbyterian Church in Lakewood where he served for 16 years. While at Bear Creek, a mid-size church with about 450 members, Bruce was Associate Pastor in charge of adult education, congregational care and small groups.. Just prior to joining EPC, Bruce served as interim pastor of Westminster Presbyterian Church for a year. There, he became known and loved, helping to stabilize attendance, maintain stewardship levels, revitalize fellowship programs and even build a new roof, debt-free. Susan, a teacher and instructional coach, is also an accomplished musician and, in fact, served as organist and accompanist at Corona Presbyterian Church in Denver for two and a half years. |
