Elizabeth Presbyterian Church is a
community of believers that are bound together by their love of
Jesus Christ. They love doing things for one another.
The people of EPC are real people, loving, praying and caring
for others.
Some of the different ways we show this caring are:
Deacon Ministry
The people of the EPC Community can take
refuge in the fact that each person or family has a deacon who
prays for them in times of joy and in times of need.
Members of our congregation are divided up into Care Groups,
each of which is overseen by one of our deacons. If you
are new to our congregation or do not know the name of your
deacon, please contact Susan Leonard at 303-646-3232.
In addition to prayer, the EPC deacons help Care Group members
in other ways. They provide meals for the family during
illnesses or hospital stays, rides to doctor appointments, help
with crisis financial situations, home and hospital visitation,
and notification of upcoming EPC events, for example. We
also reach out to those outside our congregation who are in need
of help. It is with servant hearts that the deacons of
Elizabeth Presbyterian Church act as the hands and feet of
Christ. We look for ways to serve this congregation and
the community and we welcome input.
Fellowship Time
On Sunday mornings, between worship services, most of the
congregation gathers in the fellowship area to mingle, chat, get
to know each other, and enjoy a bountiful buffet of goodies!
This time between services allows folks who attend one service
to catch up with the folks who attend the other service.
It's a wonderful overlapping fellowship time!
Prayer Ministry
Prayer is a foundational part of EPC.
Whether it is through our email prayer chain, Wednesday brown bag lunch prayer group, or during
the worship service, our prayer warriors lift up our people and
concerns to the Lord.
Children's Ministry
Our future is our children, and we believe
that we need to teach them in the ways of Christ. Through
Sunday School, Children's Church, Vacation Bible School, and
Youth Group, we hope to instruct the children of our community
in the ways of the Lord, while having fun, too!
Family Life
The Family Life Team is always cooking up
something for the families and friends of EPC to do together.
At these events, we celebrate the joy of our community life
together in Christ, just enjoying each other's company and
having a good time.
Senior's Ministry
The EPC Seniors Ministry is a growing
mission working to find ways of meeting the needs of seniors in
our community. This includes socializing, companionship
and information. They have a great time each month playing
games and have informational guest speakers on occasion.
Youth Ministry
Our Y2K Youth Group is for anyone who is
in 6th - 12th grade. Anyone is invited and welcome!
Our youth group usually meets on Sunday evenings at 6:00 p.m.
They are involved in growing in their relationship with Christ,
helping the community and having fun.
Small Groups
The Small Groups Ministry seeks to
facility the development of group studies or group activities
that meet the needs and cater to the interest of various people
in our congregation and community. These groups include
the Elizabeth Presbyterian Women (EPW), T.O.U.G.H. Guys, Vets in
Christ and Bible Studies.
