Deacon Ministry
The people of the EPC community can take refuge in the fact that each person or family has a deacon who prays for them in times of joy and in times of need. Members of our congregation are divided up into Care Groups, each of which is overseen by one of our deacons. If you are new to our congregation or do not know the name of your deacon, please contact Susan Leonard at 303-646-3232.
In addition to prayer, the EPC deacons help Care Group members in other ways. They provide meals for the family during illnesses or hospital stays, rides to doctor appointments, help with crisis financial situations, home and hospital visitation, and notification of upcoming EPC events, for example. We also reach out to those outside our congregation who are in need of help. It is with servant hearts that the deacons of Elizabeth Presbyterian Church act as the hands and feet of Christ. We look for ways to serve this congregation and the community and we welcome input.
