The Small
Groups Ministry seeks to facilitate development of group studies or
group activities that meet the needs and cater to the interests of
various people in our congregation. Several small groups are already
functioning at EPC
Dinner
Groups.
The basic idea of our dinner groups is “cellular.” Just as cells
multiply by dividing, a dinner group forms, then after enjoying each
other’s company for four months or more, the group divides with each
participant starting another group. Here’s how it works. A group can
be couples, singles, or a mixture of both. An individual or couple
invites three others to be part of a group. Each month, one
individual or couple invites all the others over for dinner until
each has hosted a dinner. If the group desires to continue, they do,
perhaps for another round. But the idea is then for each individual
or couple to start a new group, inviting more people into the
fellowship. If you like the idea, don’t wait to be invited – start a
group yourself. Just invite three other individuals or couples you’d
like to get to know, and start scheduling dinners!
T.O.U.G.H.
Guys.
Obviously,
this is a men’s group. The acronym stands for Transformed, Obedient,
Upright, Godly and Humble. If there’s a tough job to be done around
the church or the community, the
T.O.U.G.H. Guys are the ones to call. For more
information, click on the link.
Vets in
Christ.
This is a
group of people who have served in the military, and have come
together to find ways to help those (or the families of those) who
now serve in the military. For more information, click here:

Bible study
groups.
There are several regular Bible studies going at any given time. A
women’s group meets on first and third Tuesday evenings. Another
women’s study group meets every Wednesday morning. And a men’s group
meets every Friday morning before work.
If you
would like information on any of the groups above, or if you’re
interested in starting a group, call Kevin Wood 303-646-9519. He and
his team will be happy to help you organize your group and round up
other people with similar interests. The team can also help you
locate study materials on whatever your subject of interest.
