New Year's Retreat

I have two words for you: mountain cabin...with snow and fun and campfires and s’mores and worship and lots of other awesome stuff.  Ok maybe that was more than two words.  But the basic idea is that we will head up to Highlands Presbyterian Camp near Estes Park on Friday December 30th.  We will meet at the church at 5 pm.  We will spend the weekend doing fun outdoor stuff, talking about God’s plan for our lives and generally ringing in the new year in the most bestest way possible. We will be back around 5 pm on Sunday.   Cost is $50 and all meals from dinner on Friday through lunch on Sunday will be included (camperships are available).  To register, get your $50 and a SMERF (medical form) to Mark by December 18th.  As always, invite some friends!  And we’ll be hiking to the hidden room (it’s the coolest).

The Journey Pack List:

· sleeping bag (heavy bag or an extra blanket)

· warm clothes (hat, gloves, etc.)

· towel

· extra clothes

· toiletries

· good shoes for hiking

· flashlight

· Bible

· water bottle

· small backpack

· Pillow

· Snack to share

· Sled (optional)

· Decorations for new year’s party (optional)
