Our missions outside the walls of the church


EPC is striving to be a truly mission-driven congregation. The impact of this effort reaches near and far. Not only are we working to bring the help, hope, love and compassion of Christ to the people of our own community, 10 percent of all general offerings at EPC goes out to support other ministries around the region and the world, including the following.


Alternatives Pregnancy Center is a nonprofit organization that provides a

safe and trusted environment to process a pregnancy decision, compromised sexual health or mixed emotions after an abortion. You can learn more about APC at youhavealternatives.org.


The mission fund helps meet local and global needs, providing grants and other support to the presbytery's various Covenant Communities, Task Forces and Mission Partnerships such as the Network and Zimbabwe mission partnerships listed here. For more information visit

When you don't know how you're going to put the next meal on the table for you or your family, it's good to know the Elizabeth Food Bank is here. The food bank is dedicated to making sure no person or family in Elbert County goes hungry. For more information on the food bank, click here.


A cooperative effort with other member churches of the Denver Presbytery to support the Network Coffeehouse. Located in the Capitol Hill area of Denver, the coffeehouse offers a place for homeless and mentally ill people to come in out of the cold and find Christ-like friendship over a hot cup of coffee. A cooperative effort among several member churches of the Denver Presbytery. The ministry operates an orphan care center that is feeding, clothing and helping with school fees and medical care for about 500 orphans and vulnerable children in the Nyamashato region of northern Zimbabwe.
