Sermon: The Greatest Fishing Story Ever!
The Greatest Fishing Story Ever - Reminiscent of the original calling of the disciples to follow Jesus, they go fishing and are met with someone calling from the shore to throw their nets over the other side in order to catch fish. The haul of fish is too much, yet the nets don't break. Jesus is recognized and the disciples join him on the beach where he gives them breakfast and helps Peter to let go of his guilt for denying Jesus at his trial. Jesus blesses Peter and affirms that Peter will go on to feed, tend and care for the people whom Jesus loves. (my sheep)
