Christ reminds us we are God’s children, we bear the divine image and therefore we belong to God. Jesus said, “go ahead, pay the tax, it’s got Caesar’s head on it” but that doesn’t mean you belong to him. You – you, yourselves, bear the divine image. You, my friends, you belong to God.
